Corian is a brand name of the company DuPont. It is a solid surface commonly used as a counter top surface in kitchens and bathrooms. Corian is a wonderful addition to the countertop market, as it comes in a wide variety of colors, is non-porous (so stains do not penetrate) as well as heat and scratch resistant.
