How to Fix Problems with Internet Explorer 7
Files on your computer can become corrupt and stop working over time. If the corrupt file is a component of an application program, such as Internet Explorer 7, parts of that program will not work correctly. With Internet Explorer 7, corrupt files can show up as incorrect history, portions of web pages not loading or working, or unexpected behavior on some websites. Re-installing the program will often fix the problem, but Internet Explorer 7 also has a way that it can attempt to repair itself.
Step 1Start Internet Explorer using the Start Menu or desktop icon.
Step 2Click on the small drop-down arrow next to the word "Tools" on the menu and select "Internet Options."
Step 3Click on the "Advanced" tab at the top of the "Internet Options" window.
Step 4Click on the "Reset" button.
Step 5Read the screen and then click on the "Reset" button.
